Computex Taipei 2014 於端午假期的展前國際記者會召開下正式展開！五大議題、四大主軸、聚焦數位穿戴裝置！(Dragon Boat Fesitial)
歷經一年的期待，世界ICT第二大的展覽Taipei Computex 2014 台北國際電腦展來了！就在端午節(Duanwu)的這一天，正式揭開序幕！
會中宣布本次展出的五大主題，智慧科技、觸控應用、穿戴式技術、行動運算及雲端技術與服務，基本上還是圍繞在數位生活、雲端應用與巨量資料的三大議題之上，當然還有肩負串起這三大領域的數位通信，所以就新增議題的本質上來觀察，新亮點應該就是大家早已聚焦的智慧型穿戴裝置。
席間最出風頭的莫過於ASUS、HTC，於記者會中演說。
另外當然就是新品發表的三家廠商，

2014年台北國際電腦展
智慧行動x軟硬整合 開創科技大未來
6月2日，台北—全球ICT產業年度大事「2014年台北國際電腦展」（COMPUTEX TAIPEI）將於6月3日至7日展出，本屆共有1,710家廠商使用5,069個攤位，展區橫跨全台北市所有的展覽館—世貿一館、三館、南港展覽館及台北國際會議中心。
5大主題聚焦智慧行動及軟硬整合
本屆電腦展主打5大主題亮點：智慧科技、觸控應用、穿戴式技術、行動運算及雲端技術與服務，全新展區「觸控及顯示產品區」及「智慧科技應用區」的加入更加突顯展覽主題。運用觸控技術的行動裝置，包括手持裝置及穿戴式裝置仍為今年最具話題性的產品，此外科技業的下波機會─軟硬整合的解決方案及服務應用，也是今年展覽及論壇的另一重點。
全球第二大手機晶片廠、第四大IC設計廠聯發科技今年首度參展，預料將展出穿戴式裝置、數位家庭、無線技術及物聯網等多款解決方案。Acer全力發展「BYOC自建雲」，布局可無縫接軌PC及行動裝置的開放式雲端平台，迎接物聯網的龐大商機。華碩則將秀出以非常極致、創新為概念打造的筆電、平板和智慧手機等全系列新產品。
論壇陣容星光閃爍
聯發科技董事長蔡明介亦將首次登上電腦展高峰論壇舞台，與宏碁董事長施振榮、ARM執行長Simon Segars、亞馬遜雲端服務公司亞太區董事總經理Shane Owenby發表主題演講。
本屆科技趨勢論壇則融入現今最火熱的巨量資料(Big Data)、物聯網(IoT)及科技創新（Technology Disruption）等主題，另邀集廣達、Cisco、Salesforce.com、HGST、NXP、Intel、Ford、Broadcom、STMicroelectronics等企業高層分享最前瞻的產業觀察。主辦單位外貿協會表示，展覽主題及趨勢論壇的議題設定「軟硬兼容」，旨在倡導業界在軟硬體整合上投注更多新思維，提升科技業創新能量。
Intel亦將於展覽首日辦理論壇，過去在PC產業叱吒風雲的Intel為搶攻行動裝置領域，結盟台廠拓展Android及Windows兩系統的手持裝置及穿戴裝置市場，今年COMPUTEX期間將由總裁Ms. Renée J. James來台開講，是歷年來COMPUTEX期間Intel來台最高層級。Microsoft則選在今年COMPUTEX正式宣佈9吋螢幕以下智慧型手機和平板電腦Windows免費授權，以提振Windows系統手持裝置市占率。
採購洽談會再加碼 面板女王首訪電腦展
廠商與新產品雲集的COMPUTEX TAIPEI，本屆預計吸引超過3萬8,000名來自世界各地的國際買主，是ICT買主眼中年度最重要的採購平台。展覽期間將辦理一千多場次採購洽談會，重量級買主如Siemens、Toshiba、美國消費電子零售龍頭Best Buy、美國前2大電腦零組件經銷商MA Laboratories、歐洲第3大家電製造商Arcelik、中東歐地區規模最大之ICT經銷通路AB S.A.、法國電子商務網站PIXMANIA、中國大陸海信集團、京東商城及百度等。
外貿協會有感於近年ICT產業及銷售通路變化，今年特別擴大邀請電信業者來台採購，並規劃辦理「重點市場電信業者採購洽談會」。此外，中國大陸面板採購女王─中國電子視像行業協會副會長白為民將首度於電腦展期間率團來台，參加「海峽兩岸顯示產業合作研討會」並參觀電腦展、拜訪台灣供應鏈廠商，可望帶進更多合作動能。
COMPUTEX d&i awards報名角逐空前激烈
「台北國際電腦展創新設計獎」（COMPUTEX d&i awards）是每年ICT廠商兵家必爭的榮譽指標，報名一年比一年火熱，本屆新增手持裝置應用軟體APP競賽類別，報名情況更勝以往，共計125家廠商288件產品參賽，家數及件數較去年分別成長21.8%及13.4%，是獎項創立7年來角逐情況最為激烈的一次。
由德國iF籌組之國際評審團嚴選出74件得獎產品，得獎者包括知名大廠高通（Qualcomm）、飛利浦（Philips）、SanDisk、宏達電（HTC）、宏碁（Acer）、華碩（Asus）等。所有得獎產品將在電腦展期間於南港展覽館（攤位I0407）展出，得獎廠商於6月2日國際記者會中接受頒獎表揚，金質獎得獎名單則將於6月3日開幕典禮上公布。

Taipei, June 2, 2014: Connections – and more connections; that’s what COMPUTEX TAIPEI is all about! For five inspired days it will shape the future by connecting ICT with its tech, industry, market, and media.
